Calf Sculpting involves liposuction, fat grafting or an implant to reduce or enhance the contour of your calves. It is also used for people who feel that their leg size is not in proportion to their body, and for those who have certain medical conditions.
Calf Sculpting With Dr. Cho or Dr. Climov
The calf implant used in calf sculpting is made of FDA-approved silicone that is surgically inserted over the inner and/or outer calf (gastrocnemius) muscle. Calf implants will improve contours or accentuate the muscular volume of your calves. As a result of the surgery your legs will look more fit, proportional and contoured. Dr. Cho or Dr. Climov will determine the best size and type of implant that will help you reach your goals.
For cosmetic calf enlargement, either a single anatomic implant that is larger on one side or two implants are used in each calf in order to simulate the specific shape of the calf muscle. Alternatively, when the emphasis is more on calf contours than muscle mass, a thinner, cigar-shaped implant may be used for shaping. Keep in mind that implant size can be limited by the tightness of muscle or tissue that surrounds the implant.
